Deleriousness

There is a feral cat of the neighborhood which cannot get enough of the lot in our house. It's favorite time to come and visit is approximately 3AM. The front door of the apartment is sectioned glass which they can see one another through. Each night when the lights are turned out, one of the three in the household is atop the steps awaiting feral kitty's return. Once it turns up, there is screatching, howling, and hissing that won't stop until one of us gets up to chase the wild one away and shoo our cats upstairs. This has been going on for a week. Apparently it's time to invest in something to cover up the front door to keep feral cat from peering inside. The lack of sleep is not pleasant although it seems this week that it's something I cannot get enough of, no matter what time settling into slumber. Some weeks are like that I guess.

Cannot stop listening to this online radio station: www.somafm.com There are several stations to choose from on this homepage however the indie pop rocks section is by far the favorite. It's sometimes mellow, sometimes not indie pop fun that just doesn't get old. Hats off to DJ Elise and what's she's up to in the online radio station world. Also a big thanks to DJ Bagel Ted for sending me in this direction. It's great stuff. And now I want a SOMA FM t-shirt. Because lord knows I don't have enough of those...er something.

Speaking of fun indie music, Stereolab in on their way to San Francisco in March. The Bear in Training and I are headed to both shows to dance dance dance. They are playing at the Fillmore and it's always a good show! Compared to 3-4 years ago my show intake has decreased immensely however this is one which will not be missed. I Stereolab! Making it a late night to hear things off of Dots and Loops, Emperor Tomato Ketchup, and whatever else is on the list far too long on their discography here. For Stereolab I will stay out late on a school night, be stood in front of by the tallest person at the show, and take the risk of big haired girls flopping their locks hitting me in the face. Off the list this year is the Cochella music festival. It was a bit of a difficult decision to make but purchased a dinning room table and chairs instead. Not quite the same but what needed to happen this year. Guess I will just have to rock out at home.
