New Moon on Monday

Another weekend has come and gone. Where does the time go? Work so hard for Friday to ge there and wha-la, it's Monday morning, groggy and sleepy. I really need to work on the whole "get paid without working" scheme. How will that happen? Not so sure. Don't want to do anything shady and end up in jail either. But working 5 days per week 9 hours a day is old. Any ideas? Please send them this way!

The new moon on the 8th inspired the building and documentation of a list of things to let go. Finally put to rest and out of the brain because it simply isn't worth the time or energy to have them bottled up any longer. It was difficult to make this list. Firstly, because my "old brain" naturally kicked in and said "Everything is fine, what could I possibly have to get rid of in my head?". This was in fact the first glaring red flag that there is tons of stuff in there which must come out. I am often guilty of keeping my conscience the same way some people keep their attics--filled with unnecessary crud which has long since lost it's usefulness. The more I thought about it, the more it made sense as to why these things are being held onto to: it's what I know and what would replace it? Well I'm not going to live with that fear any longer. These 5 things have been documented and officially let go so now I can download more useful and productive things. The point isn't to create a blank brain but to fill it with goodness, worthwhile thoughts which apply to the now. Would be good to do this with every new powerful lunar new moon change. Something to work on in the future.

What a lovely weekend it was. Friday night Miss B and I had date night and ended up at Deep Sushi. Talk about yum with a capital Y! Oh my living lord. Super good. We strolled to Mitchell's for ice cream treats afterwards too. Miss B is a great date. And damn hot too! Before we went we had to do our 2 mile run for the day and we are down to a 10:30 mile. Yipee! Making progress, even if slowly. On Saturday we woke up and went to yoga. Such a good class with an amazing teacher. I happened upon her class over a year ago during my "week of free yoga" after my intro class and have been hooked ever since. She has now opened her own studio and it's got a different feel than the space previously but am getting used to it. It's fun to go on Saturdays with Miss B as well. Saturday night we made a yummy dinner after cleaning all day. It's amazing the amount of cat hair which collects even after just a few days. It's our 4th cat! Finished off that evening with Freaks and Geeks, the new favorite standby if nothing else is available to rent. Woke up Sunday, made a quiche, and headed over to the park so Miss B could get some work done. (I am the distraction of the year so it's best if I leave the house when she's trying to get things done!) Met up with A, Scott, Hollysan, and DianaC to people watch and sit in the sun. Dolores Beach was packed with gay boys galore and dogs. Miss B called a bit later and her "work" turned into gin and tonics at the Wildside West with her teacher friend Wendy. Hilarity. Came home to find her a little tipsy and dehydrated. Oh well. It's what sunny Sunday afternoons are for in San Francisco.

Shouts out to the Bear-in-Training and his score of an apartment in San Francisco. After we parted ways from the house on Lundy's Lane he has been living in Oakland and it's time to come back. The place sounds perfect and he will more than likely be there for a long long time. Will be helping him move next weekend as it's most certainly a favor to return seeing as we never could have done the last one without his burly muscles. YAY for B-I-T!
