Seasonal Things

Miss Colorado was here in March. My goodness did we have a great time! This is one of the items encountered while on a mushroom hazed walk in the neighborhood. Right before St. Patrick's Day, there is nothing like finding some Lucky Puffs. Haven't seen them again since. Perhaps they are under a rainbow somewhere? Didn't purchase them either. But did photo document there here to share with you. Lucky Puffs!

The weather today has made me feel as though it's time to pack things up at work for the day (and it is just after 9am!), go home, crawl into bed and pull the covers way way up to take a nice nap. It's grey, cloudy, cold, and windy. Not feeling like spring nor the emotions that a Lucky Puff should emit. Not sure if it is just a one off and the sun will return tomorrow. Either way, it's making me sleepy and sluggish. Nothing better to do than call it a day right? Wish it was that easy. It's not. Perhaps it's work which is causing this exhausted sensation as well. 110 reports. 10 direct reports. 10 hours of one on ones per week. I'm from strong midwestern stock but am not certain this is sustainable. Am learning a lot but at the same time, I would be just as satisfied learning less and sleeping more. But have learned that one must be careful in what one wishes for. The next thing could be placed in charge of jelly doughnut rendering or something. Doesn't sound fun to me.

It's been forever and a day since posting as well. What's got things so occupied that I can't take the time to write? Oh a few things: home purchase, (almost there!), getting married, yoga, getting sucked into seasons one and two of Grey's Anatomay, visitors, shopping for clothing to get married in, (shopping is hard!), and just finding time to hang around and do silly things here and there. Posting just hasn't been at the top of the list. Have a half hour here at work to do so and it's nice to take advantage of this time. Busy busy busy has been the theme of the past few months. Once things settle down post wedding, it should be a bit easier to keep up.

We did go camping again at Salt Point a few weekends ago. Did a 6 mile hike along the coastline which was beautiful. The best thing about camping is setting up at night fall for making dinner and getting the fire going. We usually begin this process around 5:30pm which also means we get to drink beer. Beer + camping = FUN! Miss B and I also have these deluxe camping chairs which we can both get very comfortable in so sitting around in those also makes the evening most enjoyable. This last time we found a spot which was extra secluded so we could smoke a little hooskow as well and eat smores until our heads popped off. We will be going again on May 11th, desitination to be determined. Looking forward to it!

It's Cochella weekend again. I will not be going. Being so short, it just doesn't appeal to me anymore. Can't see the stage. I get pushed around by all the tall guys and then they put their short girlfriends on their shoulders, extra annoying. The line up this year is pretty darn amazing however and it would be good to see The Jesus and Mary Chain along wit Bjork. Oh well. Someday soon I will see Bjork (May 19th!) and with any luck The Jesus and Mary Chain will play my birthday party next year perhaps. OK, that was a joke but still, I can dream, right? All those Cochella bound, enjoy! Give Bjork a big kiss from me.

The wedding is right around the corner. Can't wait! So many fun people are coming into town and it's been really fun to prepare with the help of friends and family. Last weekend we had our fashion consultation with the Bear in Training and Mistycans. As I said earlier, shopping is hard work! Still not done as I am having buyers remorse on the selections made this weekend. There is hope in the Haight so Miss B and I will head over there this weekend to see what we can find. Other than that, we have the place, food, desserts, music, and most everything else set up for the big day. Will be meeting with our officiater on Sunday too in order to finalize the ceremony. The person who introduced us will also be hooking us up for life! Funny huh?

OK, I have to get back to work now. Live on Lucky Puff.
